[Hong Kong, Jun 2010] Our Deputy Managing Partner, Mr. Roy Lo, and Risk Manager, Mr. Patrick Leong, were invited by HKICPA to conduct a seminar on the topic of The Importance of Risk Management and Internal Control System of Listed Issuers in HK & Mainland China".
An overview of corporate governance and internal controls development was given by Mr. Roy Lo at the beginning of the seminar. Then several case studies were examined by Mr. Patrick Leung to illustrate examples of financial crises. Other topics discussed were Risk Management and Chinese SOX. There were around 100 participants at the seminar, including auditors, accountants and financial controllers.
