Mr. Roy Lo, our deputy managing partner, was invited to speak at the "Accountancy and Information Systems Forum"
[Hong Kong, Mar 2010] The Accountancy and Information Systems Forum (AIS Forum), organized by IVE Business Administration Department, was successfully held on 6 March in IVE (Sha Tin School) with the focus of Contemporary Issues in Accounting. Our deputy managing partner, Mr. Roy Lo, was invited as one of the guests speaker in this forum and delivered a speech on the opportunities and challenges arisen from the future development in capital markets for accountants, followed by Mr. Paul Chan, the Legislative Councillor (Accountancy), who discussed the impact of H share companies audit by mainland accounting firm on the Hong Kong profession. Dr. William Ho, the President of the Association of International Accountants, was responsible of holding the discussion section and answering questions from audience.
There were about 250 participants including accountancy professional members, secondary school teachers, IVE lecturers and students. Such high quality forum does not only help promoting the AIS courses in IVE, but also encourage audience to have a deeper understanding of the current accounting industry and enhance further collaboration in accountancy field.
