[Hong Kong, Jan 2010] Jessie Ho Fung Yuet Yin Sports Day, organized by Hong Kong Red Cross, was successfully held on 29-30 January. This large-scale fundraising event aims at encourage disabilities to gain confidence through sports and community engagement activities with a result of facilitating their full integration into society. Also, this event promotes mutual and interdependent support amongst disabled and non-disabled in an equal way, spreading diversity and equality in society.
SHINEWING (HK), placing high importance on social corporate responsibilities, did not only sponsor this meaningfully event, but also formed 2 supreme basketball teams - SHINE GOR & POWER WINGERS to compete for the champion in the Charity Basketball League. Although the championship slipped away after the long tough matches, all the team members found that the Sports Day was even more meaningful by personally participating in it themselves!
