Mr. Roy Lo, our deputy managing partner was invited to speak at the CICPA Training Course about new business for Certified Public Accountants
[Beijing, Oct 2009] A training Course about new business for Certified Public Accountants, organized by CICPA, was held on 15-18 October 2009 in Beijing National Accounting Institute. Professionals from relating regulatory institutes and the academic field were invited to speak at the training course.
Our deputy managing partner, Mr. Roy Lo, was also one of the guest speakers in this event and delivered a speech on the essence of H-share auditing and new business of H-share auditing in mainland China. He also conducted a group discussion together with the President and the Assistant Vice President of the Listing Division of HKEx on a designated topic of company listing in China stock exchange and the opportunities of PRC auditors nowadays.
The training program was overwhelmed by responses in the industry with the total number of participants over 100. Communication between auditors of Hong Kong and PRC can be further enhanced through this event.
