Mr. Roy Lo was invited by Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education to speak at the "AIS Forum"
[Hong Kong, February 2009] Our Deputy Managing Partner, Roy Lo, was invited by Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education to deliver a speech with Hon. Paul Chan, the Legislative Councilor of Accountancy, at the ¡§Accountancy and Information Systems Forum¡¨ on 29 February, 2009.
The seminar focused on the topic of ¡§Contemporary Issues in Accounting¡¨ this year. Roy provided an overview of the importance of risk management and internal control system of listed issuers, and shared the insights of recent case studies, while Mr. Chan discussed the challenges and opportunities of the accounting profession under financial tsunami.
There were over 200 participants at the event, including accountancy professional members, secondary school teachers, IVE lecturers and students in the seminar.
