SHINEWING volunteers devoted themselves to serving the community
[Hong Kong, February 2009] We are proud to be the exclusive sponsor for the Playright Mobile Fun Day held by Playright Childrenˇ¦s Play Association in Tin Shui Wai on 22 February, 2009.
The Play Day was aimed at promoting the right of play, recognizing the importance of creating successful play opportunities of life, and sharing the happiness with the citizens in Tin Shui Wai.
In recent years, the image of Tin Shui Wai had been severely tainted in the minds of many Hong Kong citizens for the reason of numerous serious family and social issues, including domestic violence, mental illness, and suicides. Thus, people labeled the town as "City of Misery".
SHINEWING (HK) has a long standing commitment to serving the community of improving peopleˇ¦s livelihoods. On the day, our volunteers joined with Playright to bring joy, warmth and happiness to kids and families in Tin Shui Wai through the play. Mr. Roy Lo was invited as an officiating guest to address the speech and the kick-off ceremony. A big thanks especially to our volunteer team - staff and their friends who generously volunteered their time for the event.
