Corporate Governance Symposium - Corporate Social Responsibility
[Beijing, December 2007] Hong Kong Chartered Secretaries and SHINEWING Certified Public Accountants jointly held its first Corporate Governance Symposium in Shanghai, from 6 to 7 December 2007. Themed "Corporate Social Responsibility, Expectation, Governance and Win-Win", the conference attracted over 100 listed companies in China. The conference provided a focused platform for professionals to understand the updates and practices on Corporate Governance amongst businesses, as this topic is commonly seen as a successful tool for the integral part of a business strategy. The seminar also delved into topics such as: the channel of communicating openly and honestly between stakeholders and the corporation itself regarding the business practices and social initiatives, and so on.
