Barry Ip holds a bachelor honor degree in Business Administration
from the Chinese University of Hong Kong; and a master
degree in Business Administration from the University
of New South Wales in Australia. He is a member of Hong
Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).
He is also licensed practitioner of the Securities and
Future Commission (SFC) in Type 4 activity - Advising
on Securities; Type 6 activity - Advising on Corporate
Finance and Type 9 - Advising on Asset Management. Mr. Ip is also currently a member of the Small and Medium Practitioners Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Prior to joining ShineWing, Barry was the executive director
and co-founder of BM Intelligence International Limited
(stock code: 8158), the first business consulting company
listed on the GEM board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
He has also worked extensively in Initial Public Offer
(IPO) advisory for a wide range of businesses, such as
fashion retailers, optical frames designer-manufacturers,
pharmaceutical manufacturers, apparel and textile manufacturers,
telecommunication product manufacturers and ecological
product manufacturers.
