Alan Tang is a Partner of Specialist Advisory Service of our firm. He holds a MSc (Econ) in Accounting and Finance in London School of Economics and Political Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Science in the University of Kent at Canterbury. Tang is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Prior to joining our firm, Tang has been working in a Big Four accounting firm in HK. He possesses extensive experience in (i) Restructuring, Investigation & Insolvency; (ii) Bankruptcy and Individual Voluntary Arrangements; and (iii) Expert Witness, Forensic Accounting and Litigation Support. Tang writes extensively and speaks at international conferences on insolvency and related topics. On invitation by a publisher in 2005, he wrote and published a book: "Insolvency in China and Hong Kong - A Practitioner's Perspective" (c. 1,200 pages).
